The Amazonas story
How one water sports shop became an island ecosystem.
It started on the water
Pirates Nest opened as a small water sports rental shop at the entrance to Ada Bojana. Kayaks, SUP boards, and a Schiller water bike. Edis ran it himself — renting equipment, teaching beginners, and spending every day on the river.
The Bojana is a different kind of water. Flat, calm, warm. No waves, no current to fight. Perfect for anyone who wants to be on the water without thinking about the water.

Then came the houses
Guests kept asking the same question: where should we stay? Ada Bojana's river houses were extraordinary — built on stilts, surrounded by water, hidden in reeds — but hard to find and harder to book.
So Edis started managing them. First The Pool House with its infinity pool and private dock. Then The Cabin next door, sharing the compound. Then The Glass House, an A-frame hidden further down the river. And three boutique rooms above the Pirates Nest shop — designed from scratch with patchwork tiles and botanical murals.
The coast called
The river opens into the Adriatic. The Albanian Riviera is an hour south. Sea caves, empty beaches, and a coastline that most people never see from the water.
Boat tours started as a way to show guests what was beyond the river mouth. Now they're one of the most popular things we offer — from one-hour river cruises to full-day coastline adventures.

And then, TIKAS
Opened July 2025. A river restaurant built with bamboo and rattan, serving fresh-catch fish and a soup recipe that's been in the family for 35 years.
The real innovation is the water delivery. TIKAS is the only restaurant on Ada Bojana that brings food directly to your boat, your dock, or your river house. Order on WhatsApp, and your meal arrives on the water.
